I just don't learn from my mistakes! I can't believe I repurchased this not once.. but twice before I finallydecided it wasn't right for me.. I mean c'mon it made my eyes feel really tight and I swear it gave my eyes a not so nice tingly feeling after I apply it (I was so sure this product was too strong for me..) Don't let it's light texture fool you .. unless you have serious wrinkles around your eyes .. stay away from it

Well because I'm still young, I don't have much problem with my eyes - no fine lines, no discolouration, no dark circles etc. so I cannot comment on this product's effectiveness for those concerns. The only problem I get is puffiness and tired looking eyes if I don't get enough sleep. I only bought an eye cream because I'm paranoid about aging and got this after reading some good reviews on MUA. I have since finished the bottle and I feel it didn't do anything for my eyes at all. The texture is great - a gel-liquid that dries up fairly fast and a pleasant smell. Packaging is great and hygienic too. It does help with puffiness if I put it on after I wake up but I find that if I wear it to sleep, I wake up with even puffier eyes. I now prefer not to use an eye cream/gel as I don't think I need it just yet.

This was my HG eye cream! Sadly Chanel has discontinued the Age Delay line and I have yet to find a comparable eye cream.

I have been using this product for over two years, and I think that this is a decent eye treatment. It does help with fine lines, though I'm not convinced about the dark circles. I do not have as much of a problem with dark circles, but my husband does. I convinced him to give it a try, and I'm not seeing much of a difference at all. If it would be a dark circle fixer as well, I would say it would be worth the price tag because this product lasts a long time (some times even one pump is too much!). It doesn't feel thick or heavy when you put it on, and you can put on make up immediately after (no drying time necessary). So if I do not find a better product in the mean time, I will repurchase when I run out.

Actually the 3 lippies is not correct rating in this case. Let me explain: The first time I bought this it was a 5 lippies gel: smoothed my fine lines and my undereye area as not other gelever had. It was like instant botox. So, obviously when it was over I got another bottle, from the airport's duty free shop. I don't know if it was old or the consistency changed at some point, but from the first day I used it, this was a completely different gel. Did nothing at all to remove my fine lines around the eyes, no lifting effect, just nothing. The good thing is it's not greasy at all, you can put on makeup right after using it but this is not so important to me. I'm going to search for something more effective asap!

Well I think I will be a slave to this cream my whole life, although im not happy about the price tag. Lets face it, this cream is perfect, light but not too light, smells lovely, and actually does do something for amy dreadful circles, no miracle but if you put it on at night and in the morning you do look more refresed. if only I could find a way to get it cheaper!!

Does not provide adequate hydration. Sticky texture. Dried out my eye area in no time...I did not feel this was worth either the price or the rage on MUA.

I really want to love this product simply because I spent a lot on it and it's from my favourite Chanel skincare line. However it doesn't do what I hope it will do...I still have dark circles under my eyes, and fine lines on my eyelids are still there after 1 month of using this product... Puffiness is not really my problem, so I guess this eye gel is not for me. It kind of moisturizes my eye area after I apply the gel, but after I wake up in the morning, my eye area feels dry again.

My search for the perfect eye cream is over. Age Delay is lightweight, absorbs into skin almost immediately and moisturizes my eye area for the entire day even during the hottest and the coldest days. My undereye area is very sensitive. So much so that even putting on eye cream used to feel uncomfortable, but this gel glides right on, finally making this chore a pleasant experience for me. I don't have any puffiness or dark circles, so I have no idea this products merits in that area, but I do get puffy eyes after crying (doesn't everyone?!), and the few times I cried while using this product, I woke up looking like nothing happened. So, this does help with crying-induced puffiness for sure! A few reviewers wrote that this gel turned flaky on their skin. This happened to me too when I applied too much. With this product, a little is definitely better than a lot. You really just need a drop per eye, which makes this product a decent value. Finally, I would advice anyone who wants to try this to first get a sample. A single sample pouch will last you at least a week, and SAs usually give you a few of those.

I have been using this product for a few years now. Sometimes I switch and try something new, but is ALWAYS go back to Age Delay Eye. This is the only gel that doesn't leave my eye area feeling dried out. I was told that there is a special plant extract they put in it to leave that unique velvet feel to the skin. This gel is also the only one that truly takes away my puffiness and it does it FAST! Love this product and love the pump dispenser. A keeper!
UPDATE 1/5/08: Chanel has discontinued this product and replaced it with Beaute Initiale Eye Cream w/ SPF 15. WHEN WILL CHANEL LEARN??? You don't replace a gel with a cream, you replace a gel with a gel! The new eye cream that replaced Age Delay Eye is awful. It doesn't work as well as the original gel formula. On top of that, the SPF is all chemical, not titanium dioxide. Why chemicals around the eye??? I will never buy the new product. Funny, in Europe, Chanel introduced Beaute Initiale Eye GEL, so I will order it from the U.K. Chanel has been doing this type of thing for ages and that's what prevents me from being a truly loyal customer.

This is my favorite eye gel. I will sometimes try something cheaper but am dissapointed and go right back. My eyes and skin are very sensitive and this never irritates. I love the pump and a little bit goes a long way. This soaks right in too. It seems to help somewhat with the dark circles if used faithfully, but no miracle.

I recently brought into the range and have always been nervous about eye creams. Never finding one better than la prairie, however I must say that I was very impressed with this and loving it. I'm a 24 yr old man (or boy) and find that this product absorbs very well and does what it says on the tin. I was a little upset there's no sunscreen as it's what I'm mainly after, but enjoying it none the less.

This is a light cream-gel which absorbs quickly and completely. You need just a small drop. I think this is geared to younger ladies, I am 50 and this is suitable for summer but not intense enough for colder months. It does refresh the eye area and erase signs of fatigue. Sometimes I will team this up with my Burt's Bees Repair Serum which is a light oil for the night and that seems to increase the effectiveness of this product. Chanel has improved their skin care and it is worth looking into. My SA is quite generous with sampling so you can try before buying.

I'm going to give up trying to find a cheaper alternative to this product, because for YEARS I keep coming back to it. It's the only thing that I find that actually diminishes undereye circles and moisturizes the delicate eye area without irritation. It absorbs effortlessly under makeup. I just love this product; hate the price, yes, and it only lasts about 3 months with twice-per-day use.

I've been using samples of this eye cream. Pros: smooth, gel-cream texture; glides on and sinks in fast; smells great; moisturizes well; no puffiness when I wake up in the morning; a little goes a LOOONG way. Cons: expensive; no difference in dark circles or my two fine lines; leaves eye area slightly shiny. Overall, it's a great eye moisturizer that helps reduce puffiness of eyes--not great if you're looking for a dark-circle diminisher or line-eraser. I'm on the fence.

I have these really funky fine lines on my eye lids and nothing that I tried helped decrease the lines. I started using Chanel products recently and the SA gave me the sample of this product. Oh my gosh, it took care of my fine lines immediately and stayed that way. Nothing else did that so far.
I do not have big claw's feet or bag yet. I am almost 50 so I think I am doing quite well. The only problem I have with my eyes is the fine lines over my eye lids. Now I have this product and hopefully it will continue to help me.
The price is not cheap but considering the fact that one bottle will last probably for almost a year, it is not bad.
As with any Chanel products, the packaging is really pretty.
